Mayor: Coral Springs, FLScott J. Brook was sworn in as Mayor for the City of Coral Springs in 2019. He served as a City Commissioner from 2002-2006, and as the City’s Mayor from 2006 to 2010. During his first term as Mayor, the City of Coral Springs became the first city in the USA to receive the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. During his terms of service, Brook consistently demonstrated his commitment to bridging the gap between the citizens of Coral Springs and local government, further promoting transparency and a united community.

Mayor: West Sacramento, CAChristopher Cabaldon was first elected in 1998, and currently serves his 9th term as Mayor of what has transformed from a forgotten industrial town into a fast-growing, entrepreneurial city at the forefront of an emerging American metro. Mayor Cabaldon’s work on transportation, land use, air quality and climate change, housing, and economic development is regarded as a model for effective collaborative action. He makes rules mostly by breaking them as West Sacramento is just a platform for residents and companies to unleash great ideas.

Mayor: Louisville, KYMayor Greg Fischer is now in his 2nd term as Louisville’s 50th Mayor. He has championed three main pillars – lifelong learning; becoming a healthier city and becoming a more compassionate community. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he brings a data-driven approach to city government with a goal of making it more efficient and accessible. Mayor Fischer earned Public Official of the Year honors from Governing magazine in 2013, and in 2016 Politico named him as the most innovative mayor in America.

Mayor: Bridgeport, CTBridgeport Mayor Joseph Peter Ganim is in his seventh term as Mayor of Connecticut’s largest city with a population of approximately 147,000 people. After campaigning on a platform of open government, reducing crime, improving public schools, reducing property taxes and growing the economy and job creation, Mayor Ganim was elected by a wide margin on November 3, 2015 to a position he had last held in 2003.

Mayor: Mesa, AZJohn Giles was elected the 40th Mayor of Mesa, Arizona in August, 2014. He was re-elected in August 2016 and began his first full four-year term in January 2017. Mayor Giles is committed to taking Mesa to the next level with his NextMesavision. He is bringing renewed focus and attention to Mesa’s downtown resulting in a budding creative economy with new businesses, education and entertainment options.

Mayor David Holt
Mayor: Oklahoma City, OKMayor David Holt took office April 10, 2018, as Oklahoma City’s 36th Mayor. He was elected Feb. 13, 2018, with 78.5 percent of the vote. It was the largest vote percentage achieved by a non-incumbent candidate for Mayor since 1947, and it made Holt the youngest Mayor of Oklahoma City since 1923, the first Native American mayor of Oklahoma City, and at the time of his election, the youngest mayor of a U.S. city with more than 500,000 residents. Mayor Holt’s “One OKC” message reflects his belief that Oklahoma City can continue to thrive only if we set aside the things that divide us and find common purpose.

Mayor Dee Margo
Mayor: El Paso, TexasDee served as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, participated in the founding of the Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDCO), became the Chairman of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, and gave his time to several non-profits, including Operation Noel. Dee was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2010, and in 2013 he was appointed President of the EPISD Board of Managers.

Mayor Trey Mendez
Mayor: Brownsville, TXJuan “Trey” Mendez, III, was elected as Mayor of Brownsville, TX, in July 2019. As a small business owner himself, one of his top priorities has been to make it easier for small entrepreneurs to start businesses. Mendez has been an attorney and vice chairman of the Texas Southmost College trustees since 2010. He advocates attracting large industry to grow the tax base, allowing for more infrastructure investment. A champion of historic preservation and economic growth, he pushes for fiscal responsibility and management, noting that the city hasn’t always used tax revenues efficiently.

Mayor Frank Scott, Jr
Mayor: Little Rock, ARLittle Rock voters made history on Dec. 4, 2018 when they selected Frank Scott Jr. as the City’s 73rd mayor and first elected Black chief executive. Since that day, Mayor Scott has worked to unite our diverse neighborhoods into one City and one people, cooperating to expand our economy and improve our quality of life. He brings a unique combination of skills to the job with significant experience in both the public and private sectors. Mayor Scott believes that “When we come together, we are more than just a series of neighborhoods and zip codes. We are the people of Little Rock, and we can change course for a better direction for our city if we have the will to do it.”

Mayor: Houston, TXElected in December 2015 and re-elected in December 2019, Sylvester Turner is serving his second four-year term. He is Houston’s 62nd mayor. Since taking office, Mayor Turner eliminated a $160 million budget shortfall in record time; led the city’s remarkable rebound from Hurricane Harvey; championed historic pension reform; cheered on the 2017 World Series-winning Houston Astros; hosted a successful Super Bowl LI; expanded municipal investments in renewable energy and led the winning bid to host the World Petroleum Congress in 2020.

Mayor Acquanetta Warren
Mayor: Fontana, CAAcquanetta Warren was elected as the City of Fontana’s first female and African American Mayor in December 2010 and re-elected in 2018. Since taking office, Mayor Warren has and continues to be a strong advocate for economic development, jobs, affordable housing, public safety, a healthier community and fiscal integrity. Under the Mayor’s stewardship, the City of Fontana was named the fourth Most Prosperous City in the U.S. (with a population over 100,000), as well as the Most Prosperous City in California from RentCafé. This acknowledgment followed the 2017 Fiscal Times’ rating of Fontana as one of the financially strongest cities in the nation.
